The SoilCares scanner and the phone are connected via Bluetooth. Start your scanner first to begin the connection. You will see that the blue light of the Bluetooth symbol starts blinking, please wait until this light is on continuously.
Navigate to the Account tab in your SoilCares application. There you will find the 'Device Settings menu'. Tap ‘Device Settings’ if you want to connect to a (new) scanner.
Select the option ‘Search for devices’ to find your scanner. You will see the ID of your scanner in the list. If you own multiple scanners then you can identify your scanner via the sticker on the side of the scanner, as shown on the picture. Tap the correct ID to pair the scanner with your phone.
It is possible that the application doesn’t locate the scanner. This probably means that the Bluetooth settings on your phone are off. Navigate to your phones Bluetooth settings (these can be different for different types of phones), activate Bluetooth and connect to the scanner. Then you can return to the SoilCares application and connect the application and the phone.
